The Gala has its origins at the historic Riverside Inn in Cambridge Springs PA. Unfortunately, on May 2, 2017, a kitchen fire broke out and engulfed the 132 year-old building in flames.
This year we are celebrating our 25th annual Lake Erie Gala! The Lake Erie Gala attracts crossdressers, transgender persons and their loved ones from across North America and beyond our borders.
This year's theme is a 'Red Carpet Affair,' so make sure you pack your best Glitz, Glam and High Fashion. We will start this fun filled week with a Welcome to the Gala with a Bang party. Please join us for a Setting Sailer Buffet and Soup station.
Thursday morning hop on the bus for a guided morning tour of the Historic Warner Theater followed by a delicious lunch Luminary Distillery and Eatery. That evening will be fine dining at a sit down dinner. DJ Brittany will be spinning the tunes for your dancing pleasure the rest of the night.
Friday during the day, grab your best or new gal friend and visit the city of Erie in search of the right bracelet charms to obtain a Bingo on your Bingo board. (Bingo rules and designated facilities will be supplied in your welcome packet. Friday evening we will once again be boarding the bus for a trip to the Erie Station Dinner Theatre. There we will be dining and laughing at the hysterical performance of the Canterbury Feast. As an extra fun factor: in between the acts the Actors and Actresses will be serving us our dinner courses.
Saturday night is our Red Carpet Affair Dinner with entertainment. A fashion runway will be available so start practicing your runway walk.
Each day is full of wonderful, social events and outings including a spouse/significant other lunch outing. This year Diane Crow will once again be joining us for not only to have one-on-one professional photo shoot opportunities but also some pop up photos during the outings. We are also welcoming new and returning vendors this year.
