Lake Erie Scavenger Hunt

The rules are simple, just grab your best gal pal or venture out on your own to the designated local businesses (list can be found in the back of the program booklet). After browsing the establishment, go to the cashier andshow them your Lake Erie Gala Participant badge and ask for the special Lake Erie Gala Charm. Bring all your collected charms and your booklet to the Lake Erie Gala registration table before 5 pm on Saturday to register your name and score for special prizes. Prizes will be awarded at the gala dinner for the winner based on the number of charms collected. If there are multiple participants for any of the above, then their names will be placed in a randomizer and the prizes will be given out accordingly.

Swap and Trade

Do you have a reusable item(s) that are in good/great condition that are taking up closet or drawer space? Please bring them with you to the Swap and Trade table/rack. See an item that catches your eye? Please feel free to pick it up. Any items left on the table/rack after the "See You Later" breakfast on Sunday will be donated to another local organization.

Wondering what to do on a Thursday morning? Well, shopping of course! Please join Ali and Salley in the hotel lobby and form a carpool full of adventure and shenanigans.

First Timer's Welcome and Introduction to Helping Hand Program

First Time? Nervous? Need a friend with a warm smile? If you are feeling a bit faint-hearted, consider connecting with Lake Erie Gala's Helping Hand program. These volunteers are here to answer questions and help put aside any fears you may have about facing the world as you take those first steps out of the 'proverbial closet.' They can be your first contact here at Lake Erie Gala and can help get you through that initial trepidation you might have. Being nervous is expected and we promise to do all we can to help alleviate your anxiety. The number of people, information and activities can be overwhelming, and you may find yourself wanting to slink away to your room to hide quietly especially when you don't know anyone. But remember, the Lake Erie Gala is what you make it.

Thursday Dinner Reception

Join us in the Harlequin Ballroom to meet and greet, mix, and mingle with other Gala Gals before dinner is served. A cash bar will be available.

Thursday Dinner and Entertainment

Please join us for a casual buffet dinner. After dinner, dance the night away with our own DJ Brittany. Thursday Asian Dinner Buffet choices are:

• pork bao buns with black garlic hoisin
• chicken teriyaki potstickers
• asian garlic noodles salad (V)
• korean barbeque beef with jasmine rice
• chicken and broccoli with pineapple fried rice
• mango sticky rice
• mochi
